Work in Progress : Down the Rabbit Hole

New tune inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
I'll probably put this one on the long-mentioned, never-released, ever-changing "Up the River" album.
Gee, I've been talking about this album for 10 years now, modifying the tracklist every year.
2015 is the one, I swear!
Some songs on this album we've been playing live for the last 5 years over and over.

Backup Monkeys (Rehearsal)

Rehearsal time... working on a new arrangement for song "Backup Monkeys" (upcoming "Clockwork Cities" album).
I'm using the DSI Tempest for drums and sequences, taking advantage of the dirty, crunchy, built-in distorsion. Some Bass Station II melodies on the chorus, triggered by the Tempest.

Passions Amplifiées - Folle Journée 2015

Our series of concerts during the classical festival Folle Journée in Nantes is over...
It's been quite a ride... 6 performances of "Boundless River", a song created out of Erik Satie's "Gymnopédie n°1", "Gnossiennes n°1" and Philip Glass's "Dead Things", with lyrics from Emily Dickinson's poems. Good crowd, especially the Cité des Congrès concert at the Hegel hall, which attracted 700 people.

Gear-wise, I've been using a pedalboard with EHX Electric Mistress, Big Muff Pi and Strymon Timeline, my DSI Tempest for drums and sequences, and a Novation Bass Station II.
